Worth 1000 is an image manipulation and contest website.
Competition mostly takes place in a series of themed contests. A subject title is given along with a sample photo and a brief description of what contestants should try to do. Entries are then accepted for a fixed period of time, after which they are posted so that people can vote on them, and the results are then compiled.
This is probably the best themed photoshop contest site on the web.
It also has a fantastic tutorial section which range from how to merge people into old paintings to how to turn people into statues, or how to turn an a cherry into a cube!
Pslatino - Latin American Photoshop Contest Site
The only site with photoshop contests dedicated to Latin-American photoshopers.
The website is in Spanish but open to everyone!
Terrific site.
They choose an image for each contest and basically, you can do pretty much whatever you want with it.
The contests usually last for three days.
Great site for challenging your imagination and experimenting with new techniques.
