Just before the terrible bushfires that swept across the state of Victoria, both Victoria and South Australia had one of the worst heatwaves in history.

In Adelaide, the wildlife was suffering terribly.

Everyone has seen Sam the koala who was given a drink by the fire fighter in Victoria, but there have been a lot more koala's that have been given a helping hand this year as they struggled to cope with the heat.

Here are some photos of gorgeous koalas that were in need of water around the Adelaide suburbs in February this year.
